Professional Driver

Job Summary

This role is for a dependable and safety-minded professional driver who can support day-to-day company transport needs. The position involves moving staff, guests, equipment, and official papers efficiently while keeping assigned vehicles in strong working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees, visitors, and company assets safely to the required destinations.
• Handle timely collection and drop-off of staff and guests.
• Carry and deliver official papers, parcels, and other company materials as needed.
• Inspect the vehicle each day and promptly flag any mechanical issues or service needs.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and fit for use on the road.
• Make sure all vehicle-related documents, including insurance, roadworthy certification, and licences, remain current and valid.
• Follow all traffic laws and internal driving guidelines.
• Choose and plan routes to help ensure arrivals happen on time.
• Maintain correct logs for mileage, fuel use, vehicle activity, and maintenance work.
• Support other transport duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Senior High School (SHS) certificate or an equivalent qualification is required.
• A valid Ghanaian Driver's Licence Class C is mandatory.
• Candidates should have between 3 and 5 years of verified driving experience.
• Experience working as a company driver is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of road safety practices and local routes in Accra and nearby areas is needed.
• Good communication and interpersonal ability is important.
• The role requires flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate honesty, professionalism, and the ability to keep information confidential.
• Applicants must be physically fit enough to handle the duties of the role.
