Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead complex engineering delivery work in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within an international organization focused on accelerating the global energy transition and supporting large, highly regulated infrastructure and energy projects.

The position involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, maintaining control of scope, schedule, cost, and risk, and ensuring that all work aligns with strict health, safety, environment, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and track multidisciplinary engineering design teams across the full project lifecycle so that complete engineering packages are delivered smoothly.
• Set the project scope, build detailed delivery timelines, and follow progress against critical milestones to spot delays early and remove blockers.
• Oversee project finances by preparing budgets, estimating costs, forecasting performance, and monitoring cash flow against planned milestones.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, while running design reviews and handling change requests.
• Recognize technical and commercial risks at an early stage and apply practical measures to protect deadlines and profit margins.
• Make sure engineering outputs and delivery methods comply with HSEQ requirements at every stage.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in engineering project management or design management, ideally in an engineering consultancy, infrastructure setting, or a complex energy environment. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a similar discipline from an accredited university is required.

Membership or registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is mandatory. A PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification is strongly preferred.

The role also calls for solid knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering design processes, technical documentation cycles, and digital engineering tools such as BIM or CAD platforms. Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities are essential, along with experience managing diverse multicultural engineering teams.

English fluency in speaking and writing is required, and Arabic proficiency is an important advantage.
