Project Manager - Staffing (Remote)

Role overview

This remote Project Manager position is centered on business transformation work and special initiatives within a large staffing and workforce services organization in the United States. The role is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and delivering several projects that enhance operational performance, as well as improve the experience for clients and candidates across nationwide programs.

You will work alongside senior leaders, business teams, and cross-functional partners to move projects from early planning through implementation and handoff.

What you will do

• Create clear project plans and transformation roadmaps in partnership with leadership.
• Set milestones, deliverables, schedules, and measures of success for each initiative.
• Lead workstreams that involve subject-matter experts and operational teams from different functions.
• Review processes and proposed solutions, and raise risks or issues when needed.
• Perform business analysis to assess priorities and align project goals with company objectives.
• Work with stakeholders to identify risks and build practical mitigation plans.
• Keep business process owners aligned with project scope, timing, and priority changes.
• Provide senior leadership with status updates, progress reports, and key insights.
• Support the design and rollout of process improvements and technology-enabled solutions.
• Handle several concurrent projects with different levels of complexity and deadlines.
• Assist with training materials, internal communications, and project documentation when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver solutions that can scale.

Experience and skills

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in a leadership role is preferred, with staffing industry exposure being an advantage.
• A total of 7 years of combined education and professional experience in relevant areas is acceptable.
• Project management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively in both writing and speech.
• Proven capability to juggle multiple complex projects at the same time.
• Solid analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a data-informed approach to decisions.
• Comfort preparing and presenting to senior-level audiences.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to perform under demanding deadlines.
