Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Patna for a Public Relations Manager. The role is responsible for shaping and running PR activities that strengthen the organization’s brand, support its digital marketing offerings, and contribute to client assignments. The position requires close coordination with internal teams to ensure PR efforts stay aligned with broader business and campaign priorities.
Key Duties
- Design and carry out public relations campaigns that support company branding, marketing initiatives, and client work.
- Prepare, edit, and circulate press releases and other PR communications.
- Create media kits and coordinate media interactions such as press conferences and briefings.
- Develop and preserve productive relationships with journalists, publications, and other media contacts.
- Track news and media mentions, and evaluate coverage related to the brand.
- Handle incoming media queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support reputation management and assist with crisis communication when required.
- Work alongside marketing, content, and leadership teams to keep messaging consistent and goal-oriented.
Candidate Profile
- Solid grounding in public relations and media relations, including external communication and outreach.
- Ability to build and execute communication plans that reinforce brand positioning and campaign goals.
- Strong writing and editing ability for press releases and related PR content.
- Confident verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with a professional tone.
- Experience in digital-first or marketing-led settings, with awareness of how PR connects with social media and content marketing.
- Capacity to develop dependable relationships with media partners and internal stakeholders.
- Good planning and time management skills with the ability to balance several deadlines and projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Previous experience in PR, communications, or brand management is strongly preferred.
Additional Information
This role is based on-site in Patna and is intended for someone comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving digital marketing environment.
