Role overview
QIMA is looking for a Quality Inspector to join its Operations team in Bengaluru. In this position, you will report to the Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services in line with the company’s standards.
The role is centered on conducting on-site inspections of client merchandise and ensuring that inspections, documentation, and reporting are completed accurately, professionally, and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Review your email each day to collect the inspection documents required for the assignment.
- Arrive for inspections as scheduled and maintain clear, professional communication with suppliers.
- Carry out merchandise inspections according to company procedures and oversee container stuffing in line with the same standards.
- Complete inspection reports within the required timelines and following company guidelines.
Qualifications
- A college degree or higher in apparel or a related discipline.
- More than 3 years of experience in quality management.
- Working knowledge of AQL standards, along with applicable safety and quality regulations.
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of professional integrity.
