Role overview
This position is for a Relationship Manager in Corporate Customer Banking based in Dunedin, working in a permanent full-time capacity. The role focuses on overseeing a portfolio of corporate clients and helping them succeed through banking and financial solutions tailored to their needs. You will take time to understand each customer’s sector, challenges, and objectives so you can offer relevant support for their commercial and financial goals.
In this role, you will work in line with regulatory expectations, including compliance obligations, AML requirements, and CCCFA standards.
What you will do
- Look after a portfolio of important customers and deliver a consistently high standard of service.
- Build trusted relationships with current clients and provide banking solutions designed around their needs.
- Identify new opportunities for business growth through networking, referrals, and market analysis.
- Keep up with market movements, sector trends, and competitors so you can share informed strategic guidance.
Corporate banking sectors
The corporate banking team supports clients across several industry areas, including manufacturing and wholesale trade, construction, transport and forestry, health, education, local government, utilities and infrastructure, professional services, property finance, and hospitality, tourism and retail trade.
Support for the role
You will have support from a Relationship Associate, a Customer Support team, and highly regarded product specialists across New Zealand, helping you manage client relationships and progress deals effectively.
