Key duties

• Display merchandise in line with the planogram
• Stay in regular contact with suppliers
• Keep stock levels sufficient and organized
• Handle pricing discussions, discounts, payment terms, and transport arrangements with suppliers
• Coordinate the movement of merchandise to retail outlets
• Assist customers as needed
• Assess store needs and decide what products and quantities should be purchased

Technology and specialization

• Use internet-based tools
• Work with MS Outlook
• Experience related to merchandising or window merchandising is relevant

Transportation and equipment

• Own transportation is required
• Applicants must have their own vehicle
• A valid driver's licence is required
• A cellular phone and a computer are required tools/equipment
