Role purpose
This position is focused on driving store revenue through data and voice connections, contract sales, repair-related activity, and effective people management within the retail store.
Key accountabilities
- Lead and oversee the retail store team.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the store.
- Oversee M-Pesa-related operations and handling.
- Respond to and resolve escalated customer questions, complaints, enquiries, and requests.
- Prepare periodic updates on service quality performance and progress.
- Ensure the store’s operating licence is renewed on time.
Competencies
- Strong ability in selling and promoting products.
- Clear and effective communication in both Sesotho and English.
- Good supervisory capability together with analytical thinking.
- Ability to coach, train, and build team capability.
Qualifications and experience
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration, or a similar qualification.
- Background in telecommunications, especially customer care, is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Valid driver’s licence and at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Familiarity with billing systems will be an advantage.
