Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative for the DACH market will report to the Market Development Manager EU and will be a key contributor to TraceGains’ growth across Europe. The role focuses on creating meaningful first contacts with prospective customers, understanding their challenges, and helping shape long-term business relationships in a fast-changing industry.

This is a remote role within EMEA, with preference for candidates located in Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, or Ireland.

What You’ll Do

  • Research target accounts and uncover new opportunities using structured market intelligence and prospecting tools.
  • Run account-based outbound outreach tailored to each prospect and buying context.
  • Set up and qualify meetings that contribute to pipeline creation and long-term customer value.
  • Work closely with account executives, marketing, and product teams to sharpen messaging and campaign execution.
  • Represent TraceGains at industry events and webinars as a brand ambassador in the DACH region.
  • Deepen your knowledge of the industry and product landscape so you can engage confidently with stakeholders in quality, R&D, procurement, regulatory, and supply chain functions.
  • Support and contribute to account-based marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in MDR/SDR, B2B sales, or marketing, ideally in SaaS or the CPG/food sector.
  • Native-level or business-fluent German, along with strong English communication skills.
  • Proven track record in outbound prospecting and acquiring new customers.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, and Outreach.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the DACH region and internationally, approximately 1 to 3 days per month.
