Key duties

• Serve as the initial point of contact for staff, customers, and clients while on shift.
• Use presence and vigilance to discourage theft and support the protection of people and property.
• Watch for suspicious activity and report incidents accurately.
• Handle emergencies and crisis situations with a calm, professional approach.
• Carry out regular foot patrols inside and outside the premises.
• Maintain a professional appearance and strong customer service standards.
• Be prepared to work 8 to 12 hour shifts, including days or nights.
• Be available for nights, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to different locations may be required based on business needs.

Work setting and schedule

This role is tied to an industrial facility assignment at 300 North Harbour Road W, Compass Minerals. The position may involve standing for long periods, along with sitting and walking as needed, in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Compensation

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.
