Key Duties

• Choose the most suitable shipping method for each order.
• Arrange transportation schedules and conveyances.
• Prepare shipping paperwork such as bills of lading and invoices.
• Build and prepare containers and crates for shipment.
• Keep internal tracking and records up to date.
• Identify missing quantities and refuse goods that are damaged.
• Direct items to the correct storage locations.
• Pack items for shipment.
• Apply labels, identification details, and shipping instructions to outgoing goods.
• Oversee material handlers and helpers.

Computer and Technology Use

This role requires familiarity with database tools, inventory control systems, spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Windows, and ERP software.

Equipment Experience

Experience using dollies and hand trucks, pallet lifters, and scanners is part of the role.

Additional Information

The position requires bondable candidates, and the employee must have their own transportation.
