Role overview

The Stock Assistant supports the smooth running of stock operations at Brown Thomas Dublin. This role focuses on strong back-of-house organisation, accurate stock handling and maintaining excellent stockroom standards. The position plays an important part in keeping fast-moving products available for customers while also representing the brand’s standards behind the scenes.

Key duties

• Partner with the management team to support efficient day-to-day operations and maintain high standards.
• Handle incoming deliveries with priority, making sure bestsellers and replenishment items are ready for customers when needed.
• Keep the stockroom orderly, well presented and easy to navigate so products can be located quickly.
• Support colleagues by sharing good practices and helping maintain the level of quality expected in the stock area.
• Promote health and safety at all times and help maintain a secure working environment in the stockroom.

Experience and skills

The ideal candidate should be working at Sales Advisor level or similar, preferably with exposure in beauty, fashion or FMCG. Prior involvement in stock handling and delivery management would be an advantage. The role suits someone who is comfortable working at pace, can adjust to changing priorities, and is confident both working alone and collaborating with others.
