Role overview
The Store Manager is responsible for the smooth running of daily retail activity. This role covers store presentation, staff hiring and development, scheduling, stock handling, and inventory control, while making sure all procedures follow company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the store’s day-to-day operations and ensure all company rules and procedures are followed.
- Guide, encourage, and develop team members so the store meets its goals.
- Support merchandising activities, replenishment, stocking, and unloading daily deliveries.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve more complex service issues.
- Maintain the store’s visual presentation standards.
- Keep the workplace safe, tidy, and compliant with cleanliness expectations.
- Manage cash-related activities and oversee opening and closing routines.
- Give feedback on performance and allocate tasks across the team.
- Oversee recruitment activities and assist with performance management.
What you need to succeed
- At least 2 years of experience in retail and team leadership.
- Availability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Strong communication and sound decision-making abilities.
- Well-developed leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay effective in a busy environment.

Additional information
The benefits noted above apply to full-time employees only. Full-time status is reached after working 25 hours per week for 16 consecutive weeks, with one permitted week below 25 hours.
