Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Supervisor position in Doha, Qatar. The role is responsible for managing daily site activities on interior fit-out projects and making sure the work follows the approved design, quality expectations, and safety standards.

Key Duties

You will organize and coordinate work for on-site teams, track progress against the planned schedule, and address operational challenges that could affect delivery timelines. The position also requires regular coordination with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to keep communication clear and resources properly assigned.

In addition, the Supervisor will check workmanship quality, ensure adherence to company procedures and local regulations, prepare straightforward site reports, and contribute to improving site processes and overall project execution.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have solid experience supervising interior fit-out or construction sites, along with a good grasp of site workflows, work sequencing, and coordination across multiple trades. The ability to understand drawings, technical specifications, and method statements, and turn them into practical instructions for site teams, is important.

Applicants should also bring knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices, along with the confidence to enforce safety rules and maintain site discipline. Strong planning, organization, and basic reporting skills are needed, as well as the ability to manage daily manpower and resources effectively.

Good communication and people skills are essential for working with project managers, client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers. A proactive problem-solving approach is required to handle site issues, design changes, or scope adjustments without compromising quality or schedule.

Prior experience in interior design, interior fit-out, or related construction work in the Middle East is preferred, especially in Doha or the wider Qatar market. Familiarity with basic project management practices and common tools such as MS Office and site logs is also expected.

A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may also be considered. The role requires full-time on-site availability, flexibility with shifting project priorities, and a professional, respectful, and inclusive approach at work.
