Supply Chain Analyst

Role Summary

This position focuses on using quantitative and analytical approaches to improve supply chain performance, uncover operational gaps, and turn data into practical recommendations that strengthen business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support analysis for one or more supply chain areas, such as demand planning, production planning, procurement, inventory, or sourcing.
• Use established processes, tools, and systems to build analytics that can scale and be repeated reliably.
• Maintain strong data quality by checking accuracy, consistency, and trustworthiness across dashboards and reports.
• Review KPIs to spot patterns, problem areas, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations and help drive improvement actions.
• Contribute to Six Sigma and other continuous improvement efforts.
• Use business systems and analytics platforms to create insights and reporting outputs.
• Carry out root cause analysis and investigate issues using structured data methods.
• Support inventory optimization and improvements to planning parameters.
• Work with materials planning tools to balance supply and demand and resolve exception messages.
• Apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) concepts to improve material movement and supply chain flow.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, including work with large and complex datasets.
• Hands-on knowledge of data tools such as SQL, Python, and preferably Databricks.
• Understanding of data structures, data quality, and data governance principles.
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel capability for analysis, tracking, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of supply chain systems and planning tools.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to varied stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving work settings.
• Mindset oriented toward continuous improvement and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• MBA and/or a certification in Data Analytics will be considered an advantage.
• Relevant experience in at least one supply chain area: demand planning, production planning, procurement, inventory, or sourcing.
• Technology-aware and willing to learn new tools quickly.
• Experience with digital technologies such as SQL, Databricks, or Python, along with knowledge of data structures and data quality.
• Overall professional experience of 5 to 8 years.
• Role may require compliance with export control or other regulatory requirements.

• Work schedule: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST.
• Work arrangement: hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
