Role overview
This permanent, full-time position sits within the supply chain function and is focused on keeping supplier goods and work packages moving smoothly across James Fisher Energy Services. The coordinator will provide day-to-day administrative support, ensure records are accurate, and help the team follow established processes and best-practice standards.
The role can be based in Great Yarmouth or Aberdeen and works in a hybrid setup.
Key duties
- Support the creation and processing of purchase orders for Energy Services.
- Prepare expediting updates and monitor on-time delivery performance for major suppliers and projects.
- Handle the onboarding of new suppliers and keep supplier documents and records up to date.
- Assist with sourcing quotations for parts and services across Energy Services.
- Investigate and resolve supplier invoice issues and mismatches.
- Produce reports using supply chain systems.
- Provide cover for procurement colleagues during holidays, sickness, or other periods when support is needed.
Candidate profile
The hiring team is looking for someone with prior supply chain experience who is comfortable working in complex, fast-moving, cross-functional environments, ideally within engineering, offshore services, or a similar industry. Experience with ERP systems is important, and familiarity with IFS would be a plus. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite are also expected.
