About the Role
SimiHaze Beauty is hiring a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to oversee the complete order-to-cash flow and inventory control across international markets. The role includes direct management of third-party logistics warehouses in Italy and the USA, along with active use of Microsoft Dynamics 365, cross-border coordination, and data/AI-led process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle order processing and posting of sales invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 with a focus on speed and accuracy across all regions.
- Ensure Italian transactions are posted with the appropriate tax codes and VAT treatment, including intra-EU and extra-EU handling, while coordinating closely with Finance.
- Work daily with 3PL warehouses in Italy and the USA on inbound and outbound movements, stock transfers, and service-level compliance.
- Own demand planning and forecasting so inventory levels stay aligned with sales forecasts and seasonal demand shifts.
- Review inventory health on a routine basis, including aging stock, slow-moving items, stock shortages, and excess inventory, then recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluate and introduce AI-based tools that can improve forecasting accuracy, replenishment planning, and wider operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Italian and US logistics partners, freight forwarders, and customs/compliance teams on import paperwork, Incoterms, and duty/VAT treatment.
- Track order-to-delivery timelines and troubleshoot supply chain delays or bottlenecks.
- Support Finance in reconciling inventory records, sales invoices, and 3PL billing within Dynamics 365.
- Prepare management reports and stakeholder updates covering stock positions, fulfilment performance, and supply chain KPIs.
- Lead ongoing improvement initiatives across procurement, warehousing, and logistics workflows.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related discipline is required.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain or operations management is needed, with exposure to Italian and/or broader EU markets as well as the US market.
- If direct Italian experience is limited, the candidate should be able to learn the local requirements quickly.
- Practical experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365, especially the order management, sales invoicing, and inventory functions, is essential.
- Background in managing international third-party warehouse or 3PL relationships is required.
- Working knowledge of Italian accounting practices, including VAT and tax codes, intra-EU vs. extra-EU invoicing, and import/customs documentation such as Incoterms and duty/VAT treatment is necessary.
- Strong capability in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory analysis is expected.
- Familiarity with AI or automation tools used in supply chain or operations optimization is important.
- Excellent communication skills across cultures are needed; Italian language skills are an added advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management ability across finance, sales, and logistics teams is required.
