Task Associate

Ulta Beauty is looking for a Task Associate to help keep store operations running smoothly and support a high-quality guest experience. Role Summary

In this position, you will support operational goals by maintaining stocked fixtures, completing assigned tasks, and helping uphold store standards. You will work closely with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager to support performance, people, and process priorities. Success in the role depends on strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and a commitment to dependable execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Help drive store results by completing assigned tasks on time and making sure merchandise is ready for guests to purchase.
• Support compliance and execution targets by managing task dashboard work and completing shipment, replenishment, merchandise set, and inventory activities within required timelines.
• Show up consistently and maintain reliable attendance.
• Help create an inclusive and welcoming environment for teammates and guests.
• Take part in ongoing learning, including brand and category training, to strengthen professional growth and sales support.
• Follow company policies, operating procedures, standards, and dress code expectations.
• Carry out resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and approved practices.
• Keep assigned areas replenished, signed, faced, and stocked with testers as needed.
• Maintain high standards of store appearance and cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, back room, and break area.
• Help protect company property by following loss prevention practices and delivering strong guest service.
• Complete other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A high school diploma is preferred. One year of relevant work experience is preferred, though a combination of education and related experience may also be considered.

The role calls for basic technology skills, including comfort with point-of-sale systems and Apple devices. You should be able to work independently, collaborate well with others, and use sound judgment to solve routine problems.

Schedule and Working Conditions

This position requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Work is performed on-site in a retail environment and involves continuous movement around the store. Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting are expected throughout the shift. You must also be able to lift, carry, or move up to 25 lbs. regularly and handle objects continuously during the workday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $16.90 to $24.00 per hour. Final pay will depend on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay where required by law.
