Team Member - Manufacturing (Coating Section)

Role overview

This position is for a manufacturing team member in the coating section at Saint-Gobain Group in India, based in Bharuch, Gujarat. What the role involves

• Handling production activities end to end, including schedule planning, manpower allocation, deployment, and operational supervision.
• Working within a continuous process manufacturing setup and supporting stable plant performance.
• Getting involved with process automation-related tasks and improvements.
• Supporting quality control systems and Total Quality Control practices.
• Applying working knowledge of WCM methods, industrial safety practices, 5S, IMS, and 7 QC tools.
• Using MS Office and SAP with attention to detail for reporting and operational work.
• Maintaining a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment functions.
• Managing coating-section work, with experience in magnetron coating or aluminium deposition preferred.

Required background

• Prior experience in production-related functions, especially planning, manpower deployment, and supervision.
• Exposure to continuous-process industry operations.
• Familiarity with process automation.
• Working knowledge of quality systems and TQC.
• Understanding of WCM techniques, industrial safety, 5S, IMS, and 7 QC tools.
• Comfortable using MS Office and SAP.
• Basic grasp of electrical and mechanical equipment behavior.
• Direct experience with magnetron coater operations or aluminium deposition work is an advantage.
