Technology Associate

Job Purpose

Emirates Group IT is seeking a recent graduate to join a dynamic one-year development program. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various technology specializations including AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and software engineering. As a Technology Associate, you will be instrumental in supporting the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions that enhance Emirates Group's business operations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical tasks aimed at creating scalable and sustainable solutions using established engineering principles.
• Assist in analyzing business and system requirements to inform technical design and contribute to the development of solutions that align with company standards.
• Develop, configure, test, and implement technology solutions collaboratively to meet both functional and technical needs.
• Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot system or application issues, escalating unresolved problems according to standard procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements, ensuring adherence to Emirates Group IT standards and best practices.
• Contribute to unit testing, validation, and quality assurance activities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support the upkeep of Technology Playbooks, standards documentation, and other governance materials.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technology field.
• A minimum CGPA of 3.0 or its equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience gained through coursework or internships in technology-related fields, demonstrating exposure to current technologies.
• This position is specifically designed as an entry-level opportunity for university graduates in the aforementioned technology fields.

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in problem-solving, with the ability to analyze technical challenges and contribute to effective, efficient, and high-quality technology solutions.
• Demonstrated capability for collaborative work within cross-functional teams, characterized by open communication and a positive team spirit.
• A foundational understanding of technology delivery methodologies such as Agile and DevOps practices, along with quality assurance concepts including unit testing, functional testing, and test automation.
• A clear passion for exploring and learning new technologies relevant to business objectives.
• Exposure to at least one contemporary technology domain (e.g., application development, cloud, enterprise platforms, integration, data, digital, or security technologies), with a basic understanding relevant to business needs.
