Technology Risk & Governance Manager

Role overview

This position is for an experienced professional who can strengthen technology risk and governance across the organisation. Key responsibilities

• Improve and mature the organisation’s technology risk governance structure, related policies, and control standards.
• Track and evaluate exposure across technology, operations, cyber security, and third-party areas.
• Own the oversight of technology incidents, including investigation of root causes, follow-up on remediation actions, and preparation of management updates.
• Build risk dashboards, written reports, and governance materials for senior leaders.
• Assist with regulatory examinations, internal or external audits, and closure of remediation items.
• Work with internal stakeholders to promote risk awareness and reinforce a stronger control mindset.
• Spot and recommend ways to raise the effectiveness of risk controls and management practices.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in Technology Risk, IT Governance, Operational Risk, IT Audit, Compliance, or a similar discipline.
• Solid knowledge of risk frameworks, technology controls, and governance processes.
• Hands-on experience handling technology incidents, audit activities, regulatory reviews, and third-party risk issues.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders, communicate clearly, and prepare high-quality reports.
