Role Summary
This is a full-time remote position for candidates in Ghana. The Tutor Manager will oversee day-to-day tutoring operations, coordinate live online classes, and ensure tutors deliver lessons in line with approved teaching standards and methods. The role includes reviewing tutor performance, offering coaching and feedback, and supporting ongoing professional growth to keep instruction consistently strong. The position also involves working with academic coordinators to assess learner progress, update study plans where needed, and respond to issues raised by students and families.
Key Duties
The Tutor Manager will be responsible for keeping communication clear between tutors and management, handling administrative work tied to tutoring services, and contributing to improvements in exam preparation and personalized learning support.
Qualifications
- Prior experience leading or coordinating tutoring, teaching, or academic support teams, ideally with Upper Primary, JHS, and SHS students.
- Well-developed organization and time management abilities to manage scheduling, session monitoring, and daily tutoring activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal judgment when engaging with tutors, students, and families.
- Comfort using online learning systems and basic digital tools for live instruction, reporting, and tutor coordination.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Management, or a closely related discipline; prior teaching or tutoring experience is an added advantage.
- A clear commitment to learner-focused education, fairness, and non-discriminatory treatment in all decisions and interactions.
