About the internship

This remote part-time internship is meant for creative, user-centered students and recent graduates who want to grow in UI/UX design, product design, and digital experience design. You’ll work on real web and mobile products and learn how to shape interfaces that are practical, attractive, and focused on the end user.

During the internship, you will partner with product, engineering, and business teams to help improve the experience of digital products used by real users. The role is designed to give aspiring designers hands-on exposure and help them build stronger portfolio work.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Build wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile experiences.
Support user research efforts and turn findings into design improvements.
Create clean, intuitive interfaces aligned with project goals.
Work with developers to make sure designs can be implemented smoothly.
Help maintain and refine design systems.
Take part in design critiques and idea-generation sessions.
Develop user flows, journey maps, and supporting design documentation.
Review user feedback and suggest enhancements to the design.
Keep track of current UI/UX trends and good practices.

Skills and tools

You should be familiar with UI and UX design, Figma, wireframing, prototyping, user research, design thinking, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and strong attention to detail. Working knowledge of tools such as Adobe XD or Sketch is also useful.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, begin immediately, and commit to the internship for 3 months. Applicants should be in the final year of graduation or post-graduation, or be recent graduates, and should have a genuine interest in UI/UX design, product design, or digital experiences.

Candidates are expected to know their way around Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design software. A portfolio, academic work, personal projects, or case studies that show design ability is preferred. Applicants should also be eager to learn and contribute to real-world design work.

Additional requirements

Preferred academic background includes Design, Computer Science, Multimedia, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Prior experience making wireframes, prototypes, or user interfaces is preferred.
Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first design thinking is important.
You should have a solid grasp of user-centered design concepts.
A passion for designing engaging and intuitive digital products is expected.
