(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

This role is focused on keeping freight moving efficiently, supporting the sales floor, and helping members with product and technology needs while maintaining safety, organization, and inventory accuracy throughout the club.

Core Duties

• Follow company policies, procedures, standards of ethics, and integrity while carrying out day-to-day work and using the Open Door Policy when needed.
• Operate a forklift in line with company rules, including safely lifting, moving, placing, and positioning pallets.
• Complete assigned work by using available policies, data, equipment, and support from managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners.
• Receive, store, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers while keeping inventory moving properly across the facility.
• Use equipment correctly, manage inventory exceptions, maintain merchandising standards, and complete required logs, paperwork, and other documentation.
• Support members by greeting them, understanding their needs, guiding them on self-service technology, helping with purchase choices, locating products, and resolving concerns.
• Protect facility safety through safety sweeps, forklift spotting practices, hazardous-material handling and disposal procedures, steel standard compliance, and escalation of unsafe conditions.
• Keep the sales floor presentable by zoning areas, stocking and rotating products, removing damaged or expired items, building displays, maintaining modular integrity, and handling promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Help fill club pickup orders during the day, stage items correctly, ensure orders are picked within acceptable timeframes, and complete accuracy checks when required.
• Track inventory, maintain in-stock levels, identify shrink and poor inventory practices, and act quickly to correct issues in assigned areas.
• Operate and care for warehouse tools and forklifts safely, and notify management when equipment is not functioning properly.
• Identify members who need help with technology services and products, and support others in delivering those services.

Benefits and Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00 per hour. Additional premium pay of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, and more than one premium may apply where eligible.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. The ability to safely use pallet jacks is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Helpful background includes customer service experience, retail experience, or experience supervising a team.
