About the Role
Shangri-La Singapore is seeking a Waiter for its Waterfall restaurant. The property presents itself as a welcoming, service-driven workplace built on care, respect, and a family-like culture. Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, attentive table service to guests dining at Waterfall.
- Record food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
- Serve dishes and drinks in line with the restaurant’s service standards.
- Prepare tables for service and reset them efficiently after guests leave.
- Keep the dining area and service stations clean, orderly, and hygienic.
- Handle guest requests and raise concerns to the appropriate team members when needed.
- Coordinate smoothly with colleagues and kitchen staff to support efficient service.
- Follow all grooming, hygiene, and safety requirements throughout the shift.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hotel service role is preferred.
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service procedures is needed.
- Understanding of hygiene and safety practices in hospitality settings.
- A friendly, polished, and guest-focused manner.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal ability.
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a service environment.
- Availability for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically capable of handling a busy, fast-moving workplace.
