This on-site internship is for an Application Engineer in Bangalore, where you’ll work on machine vision solutions for manufacturing settings. The role combines customer-facing problem solving with hands-on system integration, testing, and support in factory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and design turnkey machine vision solutions for manufacturing use cases.
• Assess and choose suitable lighting and optics for the imaging setup.
• Collect and organize sample data provided by customers.
• Prepare feasibility reports for proposed solutions.
• Integrate machine vision systems with robots and automation equipment, then fine-tune, debug, and resolve issues.
• Travel to factory sites to install and support vision systems, ensuring equipment is production-ready on schedule.
• Guide team members at machine builder locations and contract manufacturer production sites.
• Support the creation of SOPs for machine vision setup, train teammates, and assist with installation and ongoing maintenance.
• Investigate on-site issues, perform analysis, and document failure analysis reports.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to maintain strong working relationships.
• Share daily progress updates and participate in review and coordination meetings.

Eligibility

Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship, be able to begin between 23 June 2026 and 28 July 2026, and commit to a 4-month duration. Candidates should have relevant skills and interests, and this opportunity is specifically open to Computer Science Engineering students.

Additional requirements

• An electrical engineering background is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical device hookup and operation is required.
• You should be able to respond quickly, solve problems effectively, and recognize when to escalate issues or ask for help.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 5,000 to 10,000.
