About the internship
Join the business development function at a recruitment-focused company and get practical exposure to corporate outreach, B2B client acquisition, and growth initiatives. This role is designed to build hands-on experience in identifying prospects, engaging decision-makers, and supporting business expansion across industries.
What you will do
- Research organizations and shortlist potential customers from a range of sectors.
- Create and update a contact database covering company representatives and key decision-makers.
- Reach out to prospects through LinkedIn and email to start business conversations.
- Help revive existing client relationships and explore opportunities to generate new business.
- Track follow-ups carefully and keep interaction records accurate and organized.
- Study market trends and competitor activity to surface new business possibilities.
- Support the business development and marketing teams in acquisition-focused initiatives.

Eligibility
This opportunity is for candidates who can work full time from the office, are able to begin between 3 July 2026 and 7 August 2026, and can commit for 3 months. Applicants should have relevant interest and skills. Candidates from Mumbai are preferred.
Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English communication.
- Good research ability and analytical thinking.
- Comfort using MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Self-driven mindset and readiness to take initiative.
- Preference for students or recent graduates from BBA, BMS, B.Com, BBI, BAF, MBA, or similar business-oriented programs.
- Interest in business development, sales, consulting, recruitment, or corporate relations.
- Prior exposure to sales, business development, campus leadership, or client-facing work will be beneficial.

Stipend and additional information
The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of INR 11,000 to INR 20,000. The stipend structure includes a fixed component of INR 10,000 per month and an incentive component of INR 1,000 to INR 10,000 per month. The role has 2 openings and is set to start immediately.
