About the internship

This apprenticeship offers hands-on exposure to the legal and compliance environment of a global insurance and financial services organization. The role is based in Gurgaon and is designed for someone who wants practical experience supporting day-to-day legal work while learning from senior professionals.

What you will do

Support the Legal Team with routine administrative and operational tasks, including help with everyday legal queries.
Assist with organizing, interpreting, and updating corporate policies, internal procedures, and legal records.
Prepare basic legal drafts and standard document templates under the guidance of senior legal officers.
Help with the preparation, printing, execution, filing, and upkeep of legal documents and records.
Carry out legal research and contribute to advisory notes, training content, presentations, trackers, and reports.
Work alongside the Legal & Compliance Team to gain practical experience in legal operations and internal processes.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, are able to begin between 23 June 2026 and 28 July 2026, can stay for 6 months, and have the relevant skills and interest for the role.

Requirements and expectations

Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
Basic ability to research legal topics and think analytically.
Comfort with typing and document preparation work.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports.
Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate is preferred for simplifying routine tasks and supporting digitization efforts in Legal & Compliance.
Willingness to follow the Apprentices Act, 1961, along with all applicable rules and regulations.
Commitment to professional standards, organizational policies including equality, diversity, and health & safety, and participation in training and development activities.
Understanding that duties may change depending on business needs and learning objectives.

Additional details

The internship stipend is INR 15,000 to INR 22,000 per month. There is 1 opening. The internship lasts 6 months and starts immediately. The application deadline is 23 July 2026 at 11:59 PM.
