Accommodation Assistant

Role summary

Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club, a 4-star property in Kildare, County Kildare, is looking for an Accommodation Assistant who pays close attention to detail and can support the housekeeping team. The hotel is located a short walk from Maynooth town centre and about 25 minutes from Dublin City Centre, with access by rail and bus.

What the role involves

In this position, you will report to the Accommodation Manager and help maintain excellent standards of cleanliness across guest bedrooms and shared guest spaces.

Key duties

• Clean guest rooms and suites to a consistently high level.
• Carry out cleaning tasks in public areas as assigned.
• Notify the team about any maintenance concerns you notice.
• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support other areas of the department whenever required.

Skills and experience

• You should be able to communicate in conversational English.
• Prior experience in hotel accommodation or housekeeping is an advantage.
• You need to work well with others and bring a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, up to 5 days out of 7, is essential.
