Role Overview

We are seeking a careful and experienced Accountant to join the Riyadh team. The position is centered on handling daily accounting work and maintaining accurate, efficient financial operations for EPC contracting and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine accounting tasks, including posting journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and account balances.
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and oversee accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing cycles, along with budget planning, financial reporting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Make sure financial work aligns with internal rules and relevant standards, coordinate with other teams, and address audit-related queries.
• Contribute to improvements in accounting procedures to strengthen accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Saudi nationality is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the industrial sector is required; experience in an EPC contracting company is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including ledger management, journal postings, and account reconciliations.
• Experience supporting reporting, budgeting, and financial close activities.
• Strong command of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic financial modeling.
• Working knowledge of accounting standards and local financial regulations such as ZATCA and VAT; auditing exposure is considered an advantage.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required; professional credentials such as SOCPA, CPA, or ACCA are beneficial.
• Strong analytical ability, close attention to detail, and the capacity to handle several deadlines in a busy environment.
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality are essential.
• Effective written and spoken English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
• The role requires full-time, on-site work in Riyadh.
