Gratsy is a women-led experiential marketing agency that specializes in turning brands into memorable, hands-on experiences. Instead of only promoting products, the team creates opportunities for consumers to interact with them directly and remember the moment.
The agency works across a wide mix of activations, including targeted direct-to-home sample boxes, immersive live events, pop-ups, retail takeovers, and celebrity or talent partnerships. From the first idea through final execution, Gratsy manages the details that make each campaign come to life.
Role Overview
The Art Director will create polished visual work and production-ready assets for experiential marketing campaigns. This role focuses on bringing creative concepts into reality through strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling across print, digital, and presentation formats.
This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can work independently, collaborate across teams, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality output that stays true to client brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Convert creative briefs into design solutions that are strategic and aligned with the brand.
- Bring ideas to brainstorms and kickoff discussions.
- Develop concepts from early direction through final production in support of experiential objectives.
- Create accurate, press-ready files with minimal revisions for multiple formats, including signage, environmental graphics, packaging, promotional materials, social assets, digital assets, presentation decks, and pitch materials.
- Prepare production files with the correct specifications, version control, and handoff details.
- Study client brands and understand their visual systems and guidelines.
- Apply brand standards consistently across all deliverables.
- Adapt creative work for different retailers, environments, and audience groups.
- Work closely with Copy, Client Services, Events, Talent, and Operations to keep creative output aligned with timelines and cross-functional needs.
- Join kickoff meetings and creative review sessions.
- Respond to feedback quickly and professionally.
- Maintain strong standards for layout, type, color, and composition.
- Review and proof work thoroughly before delivery.
- Stay informed about design trends and new developments in experiential marketing.
- Follow company policies and complete additional duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate degree or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable role at an agency or experiential marketing company is required.
- A portfolio is required.
Skills and Tools
- Strong creative concept development and execution skills
- Adobe Creative Suite expertise, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- PowerPoint skills for client-facing presentations
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Clear communication and receptiveness to feedback
- Experience in shopper marketing or experiential design is preferred
- Exposure to 3D rendering tools, preferably Blender
- Familiarity with AI tools and other emerging creative technologies
Work Location and Schedule
This role follows a hybrid model based at the company headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas. Team members are expected to work from the Bentonville office at least Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday depending on business needs.
