Role Overview
This position is responsible for managing procurement activities end to end for Electrical, C&I, and bought-out packages within EPC projects. The role calls for strong sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiation, and contract administration skills to support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build sourcing approaches, shortlist and develop vendors, and assess suppliers through analytical evaluation to improve supply chain performance.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, warranty clauses, and other conditions while preparing CSQ and selecting the most suitable supplier based on quality, delivery, and cost.
- Review technical specifications, cost estimates for installation and commissioning, as well as contractor change-order submissions and supporting documentation.
- Work with international commercial terms and related processes, including documentation handling, with a focus on practical business outcomes.
- Track and report procurement progress for project categories so that delays and their root causes can be identified early.
- Support the project team during administration of supply contracts whenever intervention is needed for the relevant categories.
- Carry out periodic procurement reviews to help ensure the project schedule is met.
- Develop durable partnerships with both domestic and overseas suppliers while monitoring day-to-day performance against service, cost, delivery, and quality expectations.
- Continuously review vendor performance to confirm compliance with defined specifications and quality requirements for materials and job work execution.
- Follow up with vendors proactively to secure deliveries as per schedule.
