Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Role summary

This position supports the restaurant/store leadership team by driving excellent customer service, strengthening sales performance, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly in line with company standards.

Primary purpose

• Make sure customers consistently receive a high level of service and that frontline staff have the training and support needed to achieve stronger sales.
• Help the Store Manager run the outlet efficiently and profitably while following company policies and procedures.
• Take complete responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is not available.
• Encourage customers to join the company’s loyalty program to increase repeat business and loyalty-driven sales.
• Share observations and feedback with the Store Manager and Area Manager regarding team performance and product-related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a polished, well-groomed appearance and stay current on product information to help reduce stock losses.
• Keep up to date with new products, market trends, and fashion direction so customer needs can be anticipated and addressed effectively.
• Coach retail staff so they are capable of delivering excellent service that supports maximum sales.
• Support the Store Manager in putting company operating procedures into practice at the outlet.
• Ensure all team members consistently follow brand standards and company policies.
• Review store administration on a regular basis and resolve issues promptly.
• Handle daily staff rosters, leave planning, and employee grievances.
• Keep visual merchandising standards in place at all times according to set guidelines.
• Promote the Club Apparel loyalty program to drive repeat purchases.
• Give regular feedback to the Store Manager and/or Area Manager on staff and product performance.
• Stay alert to store security requirements at all times and avoid any negligence.
• Remain informed about the group’s different brands to support suggestive selling.
• Be ready to manage the store fully whenever the Store Manager is absent.
• Be physically capable of standing for long periods and handling heavy lifting.

Working expectations

This is a full-time onsite role based in Saudi Arabia.
