The Role

We are seeking a seasoned US staffing sales professional to lead North American business development from the outset. The person in this role should bring 8–10 years of direct, hands-on experience selling staffing or workforce solutions to end clients in the United States, with no intermediary involvement and no support-only or coordination-only background. You should have personally managed the complete sales journey, from initial outreach through to signed agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact US-based companies and decision-makers such as founders, HR leaders, talent acquisition professionals, and operations heads who have active staffing or contractor needs.
  • Create new business opportunities for contract, remote, on-site, and contract-to-hire staffing requirements directly with end clients.
  • Run outbound outreach through LinkedIn, email, calls, referrals, and professional networks, building your own prospecting rhythm from scratch.
  • Present Gofer’s AI-driven hiring and screening approach in a compelling way against conventional agencies and ATS-led competitors.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand hiring needs, role expectations, timelines, and budget ranges.
  • Work with the internal team to align client needs with relevant talent pools or hiring workflows.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and support deal closure together with the founders.
  • Maintain your own pipeline using tools such as Google Sheets, Notion, Excel, or similar.
  • Keep daily and weekly follow-up discipline, meeting notes, and status updates up to date.
  • Help shape repeatable sales processes, outreach scripts, qualification criteria, and proposal templates.
  • Share market insights on objections, pricing expectations, competitor positioning, and hiring demand trends.
  • Turn qualified prospects into active clients, staffing needs, pilot projects, or paid engagements.

Requirements
