Role Summary

This contract position is for a CAD specialist working remotely from anywhere. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and updating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models while partnering with engineers and design professionals to deliver accurate, efficient outcomes.

Compensation

The pay range for this assignment is $20 to $70 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Create accurate CAD drawings and technical schematics based on provided sketches and specifications.
Revise existing CAD files to reflect changing project needs and design updates.
Check model accuracy by confirming dimensions and aligning work with applicable industry standards.
Work with related teams to identify and resolve design inconsistencies or conflicts.
Keep CAD file libraries and project documentation well-structured for ongoing use.

Skills and Qualifications

Hands-on experience with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
Strong background in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints.
High level of precision and attention to detail in design work.
Understanding of CAD design standards and industry best practices.
