Role overview
This position is for a CAD Engineer based in Bengaluru East, Karnataka, working with Infosys on CATIA-based application development and customization.
Primary skills
The core technical areas associated with this role include CAD tools and platforms such as AutoCAD, Autodesk solutions, CATIA, Creo, and Tekla.
Key work areas
- Build and tailor applications with CATIA CAA RADE.
- Work with CATIA V5 and V6 APIs to support design automation and customization needs.
- Develop features using C++, MFC, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Create and improve CATIA commands, toolbars, and dialog interfaces.
- Apply a solid understanding of CATIA system architecture and PLM concepts.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and PLM stakeholders to align solutions.
- Troubleshoot, refine, and sustain existing CAA-based applications.
- Draft technical documentation and assist with deployment-related support.
Experience profile
