About the Role
Marina Bay Sands is looking for a Cage Cashier to support casino cash-handling operations and deliver accurate, efficient service to guests and internal teams. The role involves working across front window, team member bank, and/or fill bank functions in a fast-paced gaming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and manage an assigned cash float with accuracy.
- Carry out a range of financial transactions for Casino Table Games Operations, Slot Operations, and guests using these areas.
- Exchange cash for gaming chips and chips back into cash.
- Process foreign currency exchanges.
- Redeem slot machine payout tickets, TITO, and vouchers into cash or cash-equivalent value.
- Handle patron account activities such as safe keeping, front money deposits, and refunds.
- Process check cashing, check/marker redemptions, and consolidations.
- Complete credit card and EFTPOS cash advances.
- Perform rolling chip exchanges as required.
- Support any other cashier-related tasks assigned.
- At the end of each shift, reconcile the float and return it to the required imprest amount.
- Carry out team member bank duties accurately.
- Prepare table fills and receive table credits.
- Move chips between the front window, fill banks, and main banks.
- Reconcile chip bank inventory against the casino computer system and track all chip movements in and out of the chip bank.
- Keep balance sheets accurate, complete, and easy to read.
- Deliver courteous, efficient, and helpful service to both internal and external customers.
- Work in line with company policies and uphold the organization’s corporate values.
Requirements
- Secondary education is preferred.
- No prior experience is needed, as training will be provided.
- Prior experience handling cash and foreign currencies is an advantage.
- Comfortable using electronic cashier equipment such as note counters and counterfeit detectors.
- Strong numerical ability, along with good communication and customer service skills.
- Prepared to work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and overnight shifts, as well as public holidays.
