Job Overview

The organization is seeking one Collector to join its team in Vientiane Capital. This role focuses on managing customer credit, driving timely collections, and handling overdue accounts in a professional and effective way.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure customers follow DHL’s trading terms and conditions and actively reinforce compliance.
• Track customer credit limits and take the necessary steps when limits are exceeded.
• Improve collection results by recovering outstanding payments promptly and professionally.
• Carry out debt collection work, including direct communication with customers and site visits when needed.
• Follow up with corporate clients regarding overdue invoices and payments.
• Keep daily collection logs accurate and prepare routine reports.
• Review credit accounts and escalate overdue cases to the Team Leader for further action.
• Work with relevant teams to resolve sales and customs disputes using the proper escalation process.
• Share expertise to help identify and solve repeated billing problems.

Requirements

• A diploma in Accounting or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in credit control or accounting, preferably with customer-facing exposure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with negotiation ability.
• Capability to influence outcomes and actions even without formal authority.
• Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools.
• Good English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
