Role Overview

The bakery commis chef will join a creative culinary team and help prepare and serve food items, with a focus on bakery operations. The position calls for someone energetic, confident, and passionate about delivering high-quality guest experiences through efficient teamwork and attentive service.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and service of bakery and other food items as directed by the culinary team.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Contribute to delivering a guest experience that feels personalized, seamless, and consistent with the hotel’s service standards.
• Maintain a helpful, attentive approach while working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to connect with guests and show care in service.
• Prior international exposure in luxury hotel brands, with the flexibility to work across varied cultures and environments.
• A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• A strong willingness to keep learning and progress in the role.
• Comfort working under pressure.
• Good command of English.
• Previous experience in bakery operations is expected for this role.
