Role summary
This full-time remote position is for a Community Manager supporting an online environment that is positive, collaborative, and highly engaged. The role centers on customer support, moderation, and maintaining a respectful community across areas such as finance, healthcare, and engineering.

What you will do
- Keep an eye on online communities and step in quickly to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive space.
- Respond to questions and customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and calm communication.
- Handle conflict situations by reducing tension and helping conversations stay constructive.
- Build and run engagement ideas that help the community stay active and connected.
- Share observations, feedback, and trends from the community with internal teams.
- Work efficiently in a remote setup while balancing several conversations and tasks at the same time.
- Create clear, friendly, and effective communication in both written and spoken formats across channels.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure members feel supported and welcomed.
What we are looking for
- Background in customer support and online community moderation.
- Ability to resolve issues and manage complaints in a calm, helpful, and professional way.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a genuine focus on empathy and clarity.
- Confidence in handling conflict, de-escalating difficult situations, and solving problems proactively.
- Good time management and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a willingness to go beyond the basics to support members.
