ജോലി വിവരണം
Role overview
Hommaston Consulting Limited (HCL) is looking for an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in compensation and benefits to contribute to a large, multi-year consulting assignment for a major Nigerian LNG operator. The role will be based in Lagos or Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
What you will work on
You will support remuneration benchmarking, benefits advisory services, and wider HR consulting deliverables. The position requires practical experience in total rewards, salary surveys, job evaluation, and compensation analysis, along with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for leadership.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Relations, Statistics, or a closely related field is required. A master's degree is considered an advantage. Professional HR credentials such as CIPD Level 5 or above, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI PHR/SPHR, or similar are preferred. WorldatWork CCP or GRP certification is strongly preferred. Familiarity with recognised job evaluation systems such as Korn Ferry Hay, Mercer IPE, or Willis Towers Watson GGS will be beneficial, and HR Analytics or Compensation Analytics certification is also an added advantage.
Experience needed
You should bring at least 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with substantial exposure to Compensation & Benefits, Reward Management, HR Advisory, or Total Rewards. Hands-on experience with remuneration benchmarking and salary surveys using tools such as Mercer TRS, Korn Ferry Pay, Willis Towers Watson Salary Survey, or comparable platforms is important. Prior work in job evaluation, grading, salary structure design, pay benchmarking, and benefits analysis is also required. Experience in preparing executive-level reports, presenting findings to senior HR stakeholders, and working within the Nigerian oil and gas sector, consulting, or an IOC environment will be a strong plus.
Core strengths sought
The ideal candidate should be comfortable validating compensation data, identifying outliers, applying regression weighting, and interpreting percentile positions such as P25, P50, P75, and P90. The role also calls for experience in building HR policies, reward frameworks, employee benefits programmes, and compensation recommendations.
Key competencies
Strong capability in compensation and benefits administration, salary benchmarking, total rewards, job evaluation, grading, advanced Microsoft Excel, HR data analysis, report writing, executive presentation, confidentiality, data integrity, governance, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication is expected.
Application note
Candidates should clearly mention any experience they have with recognised remuneration survey platforms, job evaluation methodologies, and compensation benchmarking projects, as these are important technical requirements for the role.
How to apply
Interested candidates are to send their CV and credentials to [email protected].
Additional notes
This opportunity is for a full-time, onsite role in Nigeria. No salary amount, number of openings, start date, or application deadline was provided in the source.
