Continuous Airworthiness Engineer

Job summary

The CAMO Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that technical airworthiness requirements, including Airworthiness Directives, are correctly applied. The role also involves providing technical support to the maintenance and materials teams, as well as planning, scheduling, and coordinating helicopter maintenance activities. In addition, the engineer will keep maintenance documentation accurate and up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Work in line with aviation, safety, quality, and export control rules at all times.
• Follow the company’s management systems, policies, and internal regulations.
• Keep flight data current and accurate.
• Prepare and revise both short-range and long-range maintenance plans.
• Schedule maintenance activities and coordinate follow-ups so all tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain aircraft history files and archived records.
• Create, issue, and monitor routine cards and work orders.
• Set up and maintain manual and digital aircraft records.
• Update airframe and engine logbooks.
• Create and follow up on unscheduled maintenance work orders.
• Raise and track configuration change work orders.
• Raise and track defect and discrepancy work orders.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the employer.
