Role Overview
This position is for a Contract Administrator to oversee day-to-day site operations at the Al Jurf project. The role is focused on maintaining efficient workflow, ensuring strong execution quality, and promoting safe work practices across luxury villa and high-rise works. Success in this role requires commercial awareness, solid negotiation ability, and a thorough grasp of contract law.
Contract Management and Administration
- Manage the preparation, review, and administration of a wide range of agreements, including subcontract, supplier, service, and client contracts.
- Ensure project obligations, delivery milestones, and timelines are clearly documented and followed throughout the project cycle.
- Keep contract files, registers, logs, and related correspondence accurate and current.
- Draft contract revisions, variations, extensions, and change orders in coordination with the project team.
Risk, Compliance, and Dispute Support
- Spot contract-related risks early and recommend actions to reduce commercial exposure.
- Make sure all contract activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal company requirements.
- Carry out periodic contract checks to confirm adherence to agreed terms and conditions.
- Assist with dispute handling by compiling claims, supporting documents, and evidence.
Commercial and Financial Support
- Help prepare and review tender packages, BOQs, and commercial submissions.
- Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations against project needs and contractual obligations.
- Track contract budgets, cost changes, and key financial performance measures.
- Support claims preparation, extension-of-time submissions, and cost recovery records.
Coordination, Communication, and Reporting
- Serve as a coordination point between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders.
- Support contract kick-off meetings, progress discussions, and close-out meetings.
- Guide project managers and site teams on contractual rights, responsibilities, and effective practices.
- Ensure changes, risks, and obligations are communicated promptly to the relevant people.
- Maintain structured records, correspondence, and contract documentation in line with company procedures.
- Prepare regular status updates covering contracts, risks, variations, and compliance matters.
- Support internal and external audits by providing the required documents.
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement workflows.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort using MS Office, contract administration tools, and document control systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines consistently.
- High ethical standards and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
