Role overview
Executive Aviation is seeking part-time Customer Service Agents to join the team at Kamloops Airport (YKA). This position is suited to people who enjoy travel, tourism, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-moving airport environment. You will be part of a supportive customer service team and report to a Shift Lead who will help guide your work.

Key duties
- Assist passengers with check-in and related travel processes.
- Support the use of self-service kiosks.
- Help prepare aircraft for departures that stay on schedule.
- Support boarding and deplaning activities.
- Welcome arriving passengers.
- Apply airline-specific check-in rules and procedures.
- Perform light grooming tasks.
- Work cooperatively with airline crew members.
- Enforce airline and airport policies in a courteous manner.
- Contribute to other related customer service tasks as needed.
Qualifications and working conditions
Applicants should have at least two years of experience in a customer-facing role and a strong record of being dependable and on time. The role requires someone who can manage several tasks at once, stay effective in a busy environment, and communicate clearly with individuals and groups. Comfort using computers and software is also expected.
Candidates should have completed, or be working toward completing, a diploma in Travel and Tourism, Marketing, or Business. Prior airport experience is considered an advantage.
Availability must be flexible enough to cover shift work, including early mornings, daytime hours, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Employment conditions include obtaining a Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada, passing a criminal background check, and holding a valid driver’s license.
This is a role for people who enjoy helping travelers, can adapt to changing schedules, and are able to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 70 lbs/32 kgs consistently.
