Role overview
Culligan Home Ireland is looking for a dependable, customer-oriented Customer Service Representative to join its growing team in Claregalway, County Galway. This full-time permanent position is offered with a 6-month probation period. The role is central to the business, acting as the main contact for customers and delivering responsive support across water treatment services and solutions.
In this fast-moving role, you will handle service requests, book appointments, manage product orders, and help resolve customer queries so that customers receive a smooth and positive experience.
The position is based in Claregalway, Co. Galway, and carries a salary of €30,000 per year, paid monthly.
Key responsibilities
- Answer customer questions quickly and professionally through phone, email, and CRM tools, while showing empathy and care.
- Coordinate service bookings and product orders, including organising van routes and working with field technicians.
- Handle customer account updates, maintain accurate records, and complete data entry with precision.
- Investigate customer problems or complaints and work toward a suitable resolution.
- Identify suitable opportunities to recommend or upsell relevant services and products.
- Work closely with Service, Sales, and Finance teams to support efficient delivery.
- Keep documentation thorough and ensure the CRM system is used correctly and consistently.
- Contribute practical ideas that help improve processes and customer satisfaction.
- Work toward individual and team performance targets linked to response times, resolution quality, and service accuracy.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort using CRM systems and/or Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role.
- Ability to stay effective in a busy, fast-paced setting.
- A positive mindset and genuine interest in helping others.
- Experience in the water or wider service industry is an advantage.
