Data Analyst

Overview

We are recruiting for a Haystack partner for a Data Analyst opportunity based in Tampa, Florida. The position focuses on delivering data-driven support for client and stakeholder relationships in USCENTCOM, while helping shape decisions across multiple organizations.

What you will do

• Strengthen working relationships with clients and stakeholders in USCENTCOM.
• Investigate, design, and validate data methods that turn large datasets into practical insights.
• Work across teams to build solutions from data collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis.
• Use strong communication skills and analytical thinking to translate technical findings and trends for different audiences.
• Share findings and recommendations with clients and stakeholders using databases, SQL, Python, R, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Define measurable qualitative and quantitative indicators, including KPIs, to support technical results.

What you need

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Ability to find new data sources and improve the way data is collected, analyzed, and reported.
• Experience building data pipelines and connecting data tools and solutions for self-service reporting and monitoring.
• Ability to partner with intelligence and data analysis teams to produce both qualitative and quantitative outputs for intelligence products.
• An active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
• A bachelor's degree.
