About the Role

Helix Electric is seeking a curious and detail-focused Data Analyst who can transform raw information into practical insights that support smarter business decisions. In this position, you will partner with teams across the organization to understand business challenges, uncover opportunities, and deliver recommendations backed by data.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, asks thoughtful questions, and can explain complex information in a simple, clear, and useful way. Along with working with numbers, you will help shape the narrative behind the data and contribute to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from multiple sources, then clean, verify, and analyze it for accuracy and usefulness.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visual summaries that align with business objectives.
• Spot trends, patterns, and opportunities hidden in large datasets.
• Convert analytical results into practical recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business priorities and reporting needs.
• Track key performance indicators and share regular updates on performance.
• Help improve data quality by identifying mismatches and suggesting fixes.
• Contribute to the development of data models and analytical frameworks.
• Share insights with both technical and non-technical audiences in a confident and engaging way.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• Prior experience in a Data Analyst position or another comparable analytical role.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Understanding of statistical methods and techniques for interpreting data.
• Python or R knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to handle several priorities and deliver work within deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
