Role Summary

This is a full-time Data Analyst position based onsite in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The role requires extensive experience, with a total experience expectation of 10 years or more and at least 4 years in data analysis or a similar function.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will gather, clean, and analyze information from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs. They will also build and update dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

The role involves partnering with stakeholders to clarify data needs, turning those needs into practical insights, and assessing the performance of current data workflows to suggest improvements. The analyst will also carry out root cause investigations, share conclusions with cross-functional teams, and help protect data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Candidates should bring at least 4 years of experience in data analysis or a comparable role.

Strong command of SQL, Excel, and at least one visualization platform such as Power BI or Tableau is expected. Familiarity with statistical methods and data modeling is also needed.

In addition, the role calls for strong analytical problem-solving, critical thinking, clear written and verbal communication, the ability to explain complex findings simply, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
