About the opportunity

This is a permanent Auckland-based role with a respected data and analytics consultancy that supports enterprise clients in achieving practical business outcomes. The position offers varied engagement across the full lifecycle of data work, from understanding requirements through to implementation and delivery. It is well suited to a mid-level consultant or data developer who enjoys solving problems and working closely with delivery teams.

What you'll be doing

• Contribute to multiple client engagements across different stages of data and analytics delivery.
• Support data initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through to build and implementation.
• Work collaboratively with skilled delivery teams in a fast-paced consultancy setting.
• Apply hands-on technical problem-solving to help deliver quality outcomes for enterprise customers.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of experience in data or analytics development, or in a similarly hands-on delivery role.
• Strong SQL capability across SQL-based data platforms, which is essential for this position.
• Exposure to tools and platforms such as Python, Power BI, Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, and Fabric.
• Working knowledge of data modelling concepts will be advantageous.
• Clear communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly in a collaborative environment.
