Job Description
As a Data Insights Intern at Ollion, you will immediately engage in impactful projects, collaborating with consultants and clients to develop and implement data-centric solutions. You will be part of our Data & AI practice, contributing to the creation and refinement of agile, cloud-centric architectures that support organizational evolution. This role is ideal for ambitious individuals eager to tackle complex business challenges using innovative technology.
Job Requirements
- Engage in virtual and hybrid client consulting projects across the US, focusing on understanding and documenting business and technology requirements.
- Assist in developing scalable ELT/ETL pipelines, cloud data warehouse structures, and dimensional data models using SQL.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and semantic models using tools like Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize SQL and Python for data manipulation, workflow automation, and pipeline orchestration.
- Gain practical experience with cloud-native data tools and orchestration environments, particularly Azure Data Factory.
- Collaborate on enforcing data security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC).
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data processes and schemas.
- Gain exposure to diverse client industries such as healthcare, retail, insurance, and manufacturing.
- Shadow senior consultants to rapidly learn cutting-edge cloud-native technologies in AI, DataOps, and the cloud ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Must be a rising senior entering the final year of study in Fall 2026.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Possess foundational knowledge of databases and SQL development, with a strong interest or experience in cloud data tools like Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity or demonstrated experience with Power BI for designing data visualizations and dashboards.
- Basic experience or strong curiosity in using Python for script automation and data parsing.
- Understanding of ELT/ETL architectures, data modeling, Git version control, and CI/CD principles.
- Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills, teamwork, accountability, adaptability, and an innovative mindset.
- Demonstrate genuine curiosity and a strong drive to learn new technologies.
Program Details
- Duration: 10 weeks (June 22 – August 28, 2026).
- Location: 100% remote.
- Format: Client-facing consulting work from the first week.
